With just one day to go until his magical trip around the world delivering gifts, Santa Claus came out for some fun and fitness at the annual Town of Virden “Skate With Santa” in the Tundra Oil & Gas Place arena on Dec. 23.
Youngsters and their families took the opportunity to lace up their blades and join the Jolly Old Elf on the ice. Milk, cookies and juice were provided free of charge for participants. Special guests included Sparky, the Wallace District Fire Department mascot and Cooper, the Valleyview Consumers Co-op mascot.
