Liliane Weingartner from Brooks Alta. visited with several in the area, making her headquarters with Len and Brenda Stowe.
The U11 Miniota hockey team hosted a tournament this past weekend with teams coming from TriValley, Hamiota, Birtle/Shoal Lake, Elkhorn and of course our home team. Each team played two games.
Congratulations to Tanner Williams and Kerrie Gurr on the birth of their son, Mason Lorne, on Feb. 3 in Brandon. Mason is also welcomed by grandparents Murray and Joan Gurr; and Lorne and Darlene Williams; and by great grandmothers Sheila Smith, Minnedosa; and Doreen Clark; aunts, uncles and cousins.
