A large crowd attended the grand opening for Virden Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM on Aug. 24 during lunch hour. Country music played as people lined up for a complimentary beef on a bun with salads served over lunch for the grand opening.

Manager of the Virden Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Chris Irvine welcomed and thanked the crowd in attendance, and introduced his family wife Jillian, and daughters Hailey, Emma, and Mya.

Irvine introduced and invited the following dignitaries to say a few words: Member of Parliament, Larry Maguire, MLA for Aurther-Virden Doyle Pinuik, and Virden Mayor Jeff McConnell. Two owners of Virden Chrysler, Doug and Dan Murray, were also at the grand opening.

Following introductions and speeches, the ribbon cutting was performed by Manager Irvine’s daughter Mya.

Customers who had bought a vehicle at the Virden Chrysler location from July 1st on, were able to enter their name in a raffle to win a new quad. The winner of the quad was Jessica Coleman, along with her young son Rhett; her husband Alvin and daughter Claire were not at the event.
