Samantha Methot, the new Summer Recreation Assistant, and returning camp leaders Rayne Schwalm and Madison Hellyer are keeping Virden kids busy making summer memories.
Upcoming theme days at the summer camp for July are Monster Madness, Tuesday Teddy Bear Adventures, Kids in the Kitchen, Crazy Science, Random Act of Kindness Day, All Sorts of Sports days, Ellen DeGeneres Day, Sun and Sand Day, Artfful Antics Day, and Adventure days.
Prairie West Recreation is holding the seven week day camp, which started on Jul. 3 at Mary Montgomery School. The camp is Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Children age five (who have completed kindergarten) to 11 years are invited to attend. Children may attend weekly or daily.
