Prairie West Recreation is thrilled to add Samantha Methot as the new Summer Recreation Assistant; along with returning camp leaders Rayne Schwalm and Madison Hellyer.
Prairie West Recreation is holding a seven week day camp at Mary Montgomery School beginning July 3. The camp will be Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A late fee will be charged for those who are late for pick-up at 4:00 p.m. Children age five (who have completed kindergarten) to 11 years are invited to attend. Children can attend weekly or daily.
Games, physical activity, arts, crafts and learning will fill camp days for lasting memories. Kids are asked to bring a bag lunch, snacks, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, a swim suit and towel. To view camp themes go to Camp Theme Calendar@www.prairiewestrecreation.com.
Virden Summer Day Camp is on a first come first paid basis, with limited spaces available. Parents may register children in person at the Virden Prairie West office at 425 6th Ave. S. All day camp days must be prepaid prior to attending.
The Flatlanders Soccer Camp for ages five (must have completed kindergarten) to 12 years will be held from Aug. 21 – 25. Full or half days are available.
