Many young skaters benefit from the community-sponsored and entirely volunteer based program, which is of no cost to the parents. The Virden Breakfast Club started in 2009 and has been going strong ever since. Starting out with volunteering dad-coaches, players for the last three years have had high level instruction from the Oil Caps. Troy Leslie, Oil Caps Coach, has been volunteering for the last three years, and this year he brought with him Assistant Coach for the Oil Caps, Carter Duffin.

President of The Virden Breakfast Club, Brock Andrews says, “We are very grateful for all of the business sponsors and local volunteers, as well as the Oil Caps involvement and support of our program.
