Virden District Hospital is a building of modern design. Planned primarily for interior efficiency, the exterior design is functional. The building is constructed of red brick and the exterior woodwork is painted white and yellow. It is locate just off King Street near the junction of that street with the Trans Canada Highway. Plans have been prepared for extensive landscaping of the grounds which will add much to the exterior appearance of the fine building.
