The fine weather which was ushered in Saturday last would almost make one forget that we had experienced one of the worst storms in the history of our old-timers, during the preceding four days. Our inclinations would prompt us to let bygones be bygones, but the huge plies of snow that still remain to be shovelled, if our back and front yards are to be made passable for ourselves, the coal-man or visitors who may chance to develop a desire to call, are still sufficiently numerous to constantly remind us of the effects of the storm. Even if we would seek to ignore the snow piles our good wife will not, and there is an insistent call to shovel. So what’s the use of trying to forget?
