Safety alert: Canada-wide recall for lemonade mix due to 'possible presence of glass'

A fruit juice mix has also been included in the recall

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is notifying the public about a recall of fruit juice mixes due to the possible presence of glass. 

A recall notification issued Nov. 19 states that Kraft Heinz Canada is recalling Country Time brand Original Lemonade Fruit Juice Substitute Drink Mix and Tang brand Orange Flavour Crystals due to the possible presence of glass. 

There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of these products.

The recalled products were sold across Canada and online.

What you should do

Check to see if you have any of the recalled products in your home. Do not drink any of the recalled fruit juice mixes and throw them out or return them to the place that you purchased them. 

The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
