On Friday, May 8, as the doors opened for the Natural Health & Healing Expo, the first visitors pay their entrance fee, enter their names in a door prize draw and receive gifts in a bag supplied by San Tai’s Health.

The Ladies Auxillary held their recent meeting on May 7 in their boardroom. President Whittle opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. The singing of O Canada took place. Roll call was taken and there were 12 members present.

Québec Voyage

The Virden Junior High Grade 8 students went on their voyage to Québec City and Montréal after three years of preparation and organizing. The students, parents and five teachers did a lot of fundraising and received many donations for the voyage.

Virden Royal Purple ladies have held three meetings since becoming members of the Canadian Royal Purple Society. There were 18 members at the February meeting and 23 members at the March meeting.
Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books

Monday morning March 9, the Reston School Gym was filled with 20 teams of Grade 5 and 6 students from Elkhorn, Virden, Oak Lake, Kola and Reston. They were gathered to compete in the sixth annual Fort La Bosse Battle of the Books.
