Pembina Pipeline representative Trent Forsyth presented Keith Wadham, Virden and Area Handi Van Chairperson, with a donation of $200 on Jul. 17. The company employees held a barbecue on Jun. 10 at the Cromer Truck Terminal from 10:00 a.m.

Half a dozen Riders from Virden area couldn’t resist the opportunity to polish up their motorcycles and tour southern Manitoba for charity. Jul. 15, the Second Annual Ride for Habitat for Humanity, saw riders assembled for coffee at Virden’s A&W.

With volunteers of Korean origin, as well as community-based programs, Children of Canupawakpa Dakota nation are enjoying two summer day programs. Several upcoming events are planned to include adults in the community, as well, this summer.
