Breathtaking photos of prairie landscapes and beautiful pastel portraits fill the tourist centre this month. From doodling in the margins of her notebooks, to using such mediums as pastel and acrylic,
Holly Dauvin is this month’s showcased artist.

Dauvin is currently a member of the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba and the Regina Art Gallery; she has also worked alongside several artists such as Weiming Zhao, Gerry Oliver, Chris Reid,
Carrie Wild, and Vi Kerslake.

Dauvin was born in Saskatoon, SK and at age nine she moved to Maryfi eld, SK with her family. Since she was young Dauvin loved to doodle, draw, and paint anything that came to mind. After growing up in a small town, she decided to start up her own family on a farm.

Out on the farm Dauvin developed a great appreciation for nature and the rural life, which sparked this art showcase.
