Local 3D cake decorator

Art you can eat

Candace’s Creations has a beautiful new, stainless steel kitchen. The certified kitchen, attached to Kreutzer’s house, was recently completed in February of this year.

Candace Kreutzer, of Candace’s Creations, at Oak Lake has been decorating cakes for 12 years.  “It all started when I decided to decorate a birthday cake for my son’s second birthday,” says Kreutzer “and it just spiraled from there; with more and more people wanting cakes.”

Candace’s Creation cakes have been done for customers as far away as Winnipeg.

Kreutzer enjoys decorating cakes for the fact of, “taking ingredients and making something out of nothing.” She adds, “Each cake is unique, and I love seeing kids’ faces when they see their cakes.”

Kreutzer decorates cakes for any event including weddings, anniversarys, and birthdays. Currently, 3D cakes have become popular. Kreutzer says, “The Minion 3D cakes are my favourite and most fun to do.”

Kreutzer also bakes and sells cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, granola bars, cinnamon buns, brownies, cheesecakes, ice cream cakes, and pies out of her certified kitchen. In the summer she attends the Oak Lake Farmer’s Market to sell baking.

Kreutzer intends to uphold the artistic quality of her decorating. She says, “I plan to keep the business small and the quality of work good.” Candace’s Creations can be found on Facebook at https:/www.facebook.com/candacekreutzercakes?ref=hl.
