Oak Lake 3Km Colour Fun Run/Walk and Family Fun and Health Fair will be held Jun. 24, at the Oak Lake Community Hall, for people of all ages. The Colour Fun Run/Walk starts at 1:00 p.m. To partake in the Fun Run/Walk participants must register by Jun. 2, forms can be downloaded at http://www.rmofsifton.com/revreation-and-liesure/and dropped off at the Oak Lake municipal office or mailed to: Sifton Recreation, Box 100, Oak Lake, MB, R0M 1P0. All proceeds raised will support local recreation opportunities.
The Family Fun and Health Fair starts with a free yoga class taught by Kim Houston Fitness at 12:15 p.m. Fit Kids Healthy Kids runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. consisting of “The Motion Zone”, a free play zone with awesome equipment and games. It is a large area where kids get active in an unstructured/free play setting.
A number of healthy living vendors will attend at the event showcasing products such as: Kangen Water, Melaleuca, Isagenix, Young Living Oils, Kim Houston Fitness, Shaklee, Valentus, Beachbody and Fitness Coaching, and Arbonne Nutrition.
