Amanda Jeanes Photography is the work of Virden photographer Amanda Jeanes.
Her work includes family, wedding, engagement, maternity, seasonal mini sessions and events photography.
“I took 4H photography when I was a teenager, and fell in love with it. I never went anywhere without a camera. I just love being behind my camera and creating beautiful images for people to treasure forever."
She says she doesn’t refer to herself as a pro at his point, adding, “there’s always room to learn and grow when it comes to photography.”
She says she constantly learning from other photographers.
“I follow photography groups on Facebook where they discuss techniques and how to recreate images they’ve taken. I’ve also taken a college photography course. When I have down time, I’m constantly learning from other photographers online.
“To show my work, I put myself in my client's shoes. I know how excited I’d be to see sneak peeks of my session so I get a few images on Facebook within 24-48 hours, or sooner. And then you get your images through an online gallery within a few days.”
