Art at the gallery

Arts Mosaic is busy getting a new slate of programs ready for the fall and winter season, but there is still time to see some amazing art from this summer’s show.

Artist Cody McPhee grew up in Neepawa. He became interested in art at a young age, winning a number of drawing awards throughout elementary school. He began taking art classes at Neepawa Area Collegiate Institute, where he was first introduced to watercolours and clay. After high school McPhee attended Brandon University where he studied History and English as well as Fine Arts. He learned about art from ancient times as well as contemporary and conceptual art. McPhee then went on to complete his Education degree at BU. He now resides in Virden, MB with his girlfriend and two kids and teaches Geography, Math, and Art at Virden Collegiate Institute.
