Like so many other summer events in Manitoba, 2020 was a blank year for many demolition derby drivers, including Virden’s Jody Braybrook. He spent all last year working on his car, making it the best it could be. Braybrook decided he would give derby one good shot this year and he geared up for the Crystal City Crunch Bowl. You can imagine his satisfaction to sweep the event winning the top place trophy. Another local stand out was Kola’s Chris Flannery taking fourth place in the event.
