In the semi-final playoffs of the Provincial A Senior league, Monday night’s game was intense as the Miniota-Elkhorn C-Hawks (NCHL) played the Boissevain Border Kings (THHL) on Virden ice at Tundra Oil & Gas Place, April 4.
An early goal by Boissevain set the pace. In this first of a two-game series where total points count, the C-Hawks came back but were never on top. The game ended with the Border Kings win of 9-6.
