Dauphin RCMP investigating aggravated assault

Three suspects are wanted for two vicious assaults within the business area of Dauphin.

 In a double homicide on March 13, two suspects have been arrested. Kathleen Flatfoot has been arrested most recently and Fred Parenteau was arrested on March 17.

Original Report

On March 13, at approximately 5:35 a.m., Dauphin RCMP received a report of an injured female at the Tim Hortons located on Main Street South in Dauphin.  Officers attended and located a 45-year-old female, from Pine Creek First Nation, with life-threatening injuries. She was transported to hospital and later transferred to Winnipeg in critical condition. A second victim was located a short distance away, a 66-year-old male from Dauphin, who had also suffered serious injuries from being assaulted. He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. The investigation has determined that the two victims were assaulted by three suspects, two males and one female, near a business located in the 1500 block of Main Street in Dauphin. Dauphin RCMP have issued Warrants of Arrest for the following three suspects who are now wanted in connection to this incident.   - Samuel Flatfoot, 24, from Pine Creek First Nation – charged with Aggravated Assault x2 and Robbery   - Fred Parenteau, 37, from Dauphin – charged with Aggravated Assault x2 and Robbery   - Kathleen Flatfoot, 49, from Pine Creek First Nation – charged with Aggravated Assault and Robbery x2 RCMP are asking anyone who may know the whereabouts of these suspects or have any information in relation to this assault to contact the Dauphin RCMP at 204-622-5050, call Manitoba Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
