On Jan. 26, at approximately 2:30 pm, RCMP received a report that on Jan. 25 a student at Fisher Branch Collegiate, in Fisher Branch, pointed a firearm at another student.
Officers attended the suspect's residence in Fisher Branch and he was arrested without incident. He was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm, ammunition and bear spray.
The youth is facing charges of:
- Pointing a Firearm
- Uttering Threats
- Careless use of a Firearm x2
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon x4
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x4
- Unsafe Storage of Firearm x2
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
