A movement said to be a record-breaking event will be passing by Virden this morning, Tuesday, Jan. 25 on its way to Brandon where it expects to arrive about 11 a.m.
Just what kind of record it will break is not yet confirmed.
According to the Guiness Book of World Records, the current record for the Largest parade of trucks is 480 and was achieved by Tahya Misr Fund in 2020.
Westman RCMP is working to provide safety as they pass Virden, so the PR 259 intersection will be blocked, possibly as early as 9:30 a.m. today. Watch for more details.
The Freedom Convoy as it is referred to stretches kilometres.
