Fort la Bosse School Division’s three grade 12 graduation ceremonies are all happening this week and a parade through town for each school’s graduates continues a tradition that began in 2020.

On Friday, June 24, Reston graduates are receiving their diplomas and awards in cap and gown at 2 p.m. in the Reston School auditorium. With the grads in formal attire the Grand March, open to the public, takes place immediately after the awards.

The eight graduates will then cruise the town at about 4 p.m. A banquet for the students, their immediate family and school staff will follow the town parade.

Elkhorn Grade 12 graduates celebrate on Saturday, June 25th at 2:00 p.m. in the Elkhorn School Gym. When the ceremony is complete the graduates will parade through town starting at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Virden Collegiate Graduation on Thursday, June 23 includes an early day presentation of diplomas and awards for students in grad gowns. A cruise about town for the grads in formal best attire has been scheduled prior to the Grand March in Tundra Oil & Gas Place, to be followed by Safe Grad.

Watch for photo coverage of all the FLBSD graduates in the July 1 issue of the Empire-Advance.
