On Sept. 19, at 4:30 p.m., Killarney RCMP responded to a report of found human remains in a field off of Hwy 3 and Road 105 W, located approximately 10 kilometres west of Killarney. Officers attended and were advised that workers were on site excavating gravel when the remains were discovered. With the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services and an anthropology team, investigators are currently on site conducting a search of the area. The identity of the remains is unknown at this time.
