Congratulations to Avery Clark and Addison Hawtin who were team members of the Birtle Collegiate curling rink skipped by Serena Stainer, along with Savannah Sandstrom and Kalina Emerick. The girls were successful in securing the rights to attend the High School Provincial bonspiel in The Pas. Good luck girls!

The Elkhorn-Miniota C-Hawks Senior team had a win over Gladstone on Saturday evening at the Miniota Rink.
The Man-Sask Sliding Stars junior curling group curled at the Miniota Rink this past Sunday with 36 curlers participating.
Bridesmaids Adrienne Rowan, Kim Johnson, Katie Farquhar-Cowpar and Ruth Howard hosted an old fashioned bridal shower for Katrina Clark at the Miniota Senior’s DropIn Centre on Saturday. Games, lunch and visiting were enjoyed while Katrina opened the many beautiful gifts. With Katrina at the head table was her mother Dianne Clark and the groom’s mother Laura Fardoe-Bourns. Katrina thanked her guests for their attendance and the gifts. The Miniota Community gift was a beautiful floor vase and a gift certificate to Studio 83. Katrina’s marriage to Levi Ferguson of Brandon is an event of February 19th.
