Mishap on the Trans Canada east of Elkhorn

The front of a car is banged up and a semi sits parked a short distance away

At about 11:00 a.m. on May 4, EMS, and crews from RCMP and Wallace-Woodworth Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on the Trans Canada Highway about five km east of Elkhorn.

It appears that an eastbound car contacted the rear of a semi-trailer and sustained serious damage.

No further details have been made available and no injuries have been reported to date.
