Museum day amuses a crowd
The annual Pioneer Home Museum Day, Aug. 5. provided the community with an afternoon of activity including a barbecue lunch, museum tours for a toonie, 11 raffle draws and games.
The museum staff even donned some Victorian era clothing to add the to the museum’s ambience.
With support from local businesses, the help of volunteers and the visitors who came, Museum Day was a success. “We can’t wait for next year!” says Carlee Pearn, Museum staff.
