Denise Robson started up her flower shop about 20 years ago and provides floral products of all kinds in the R.M. of Sifton and surrounding areas. She chose to set up shop just west of the Deleau Park and this is how she chose the name Park Road Florals.
Born and raised in Deleau, Robson has been a resident there, volunteering and supporting her community and nearby towns for most of her life.
“I actually started off small, selling flowers and plants out of my home, and when the demand for larger quantities and orders started coming in, I decided to expand my business and purchase a separate shop for more space,” says Robson.
“I’m certainly glad I did, as my business has gotten very busy. I provide many different styles and creative flower arrangements to accommodate for all sorts of occasions such as weddings, birthdays, graduations, seasonal holidays and funerals.”
She provides a variety of different flowers and an array of colors when creating centerpieces, wreaths, boutonnieres, corsages, plant baskets and bouquets.
“I’ve always liked plants and flowers and when I create a flower arrangement, I make sure the colors are what the customer wants and the arrangement goes with the season or occasion. There are so many different kinds of flowers and plants to choose from and I want to make sure my customers are satisfied with the finished product,” adds Robson.
Robson says she is always up for a challenge in preparing special orders that may take a few added ornaments or pieces to finish off a floral project. Her plants, flower baskets and planters come in different sizes. This enables customers to choose what works best for the occasion they are celebrating. Boxes of chocolates can be added to a flower order for those special occasions. She also makes sure she includes plant care instructions so they obtain the longest life possible.
Park Road Florals will deliver flower arrangements and potted plants anywhere in the community to accommodate customer’s needs.
“I enjoy meeting people and enjoy serving the community,” says Robson. Her phone is on 24/7, and if she can’t answer, she’ll get back to customers within a short time frame.
