Corporal Matt Hipwell reported 80calls for service between August 22 and August 30. Six false alarm and 36 traffic tickets occurred during this time frame.
August 22
- Report of livestock on Highway 259 near Lenore. RCMP made patrols, there were no livestock located.
August 23
- Two complaints of mischief in the town of Virden.
August 24
- A single vehicle accident west of Elkhorn. A motor cycle went off the road. Police attended there were no injuries. The cause of the accident was fatigue.
August 25
- Report of a person failing to comply with their conditions. This matter is still under investigation.
August 26
- Complaint of an impaired driver on Highway 257. The driver was not located.
- Report of a person failing to comply with their conditions. This matter is still under investigation.
- A report of a baler on fire in the RM of Sifton. Police attended but the fire was already extinguished. There were no injuries.
- Complaint of a break and enter. A male entered a shed in the RM of Wallace. He was approached by the home owner. The suspect then departed in a vehicle. There was nothing stolen from the shed and the police could not locate the male.
- Another report of a person failing to comply with their conditions.
August 29
- Complaint of a suspicious person on the TransCanada Highway, five kilometers west of Virden. RCMP attended and the male was gone upon arrival.
August 30
- Complaint of an assault at a business in Elkhorn. Police attended and a male was arrested and released.
