Once again, Red Apple’s annual Fill the Sleigh campaign is providing gifts for community members. This year, the residents of the Sherwood Nursing Home in Virden are being blessed.
Brittany Sawatsky, Red Apple Activities Director at The Sherwood says, “We have received the gift of Christmas this year in the form of a cozy blankets and chocolates for each and every resident in the home along with a generous cash donation of $750 all made possible by members of our community as well as surrounding communities who have graciously donated funds to make this happen.
Donations were made through Red Apple in Virden.
Sawatsky says, “We would like to extend a huge thank you to Red Apple as well as everyone who made a donation to make this happen, as this was sure to bring a smile to the faces of all the residents here at The Sherwood!”
