On behalf of the Red River Métis and our national government, the Manitoba Métis Federation, I wish to extend my deep condolences to the family and the community of MLA Danielle Adams, who was taken from this world too soon. Our prayers will include strong emphasis on the well-being of her children, who will need all our prayers and support to find their peace with this loss.
Our Nation knows that life in the North offers unique challenges and hardships, and it’s vital to have passionate advocates who are willing to stand up and represent our northern communities. Danielle Adams was just such an advocate, and her loss will be felt by all Manitobans.
To the people of Thompson, including Danielle’s family, know that our Nation grieves with you and shares your pain at this tragic loss.
