Music in the Park is a rich part of Virden’s summertime social opportunities. Here, people freely come and go at Victoria Park enjoying local musical talent. By donation, this project is supported through Prairie West Recreation.
On the final outdoor musical evening Darryl Corbel, a Virden teacher, sings with a rich tenor voice while accompanying himself on guitar. Corbel is no stranger to the stage either, having played in a number of productions in Virden’s Aud Theatre.
This year, due to Manitoba’s health orders, many normal activities saw an abbreviated season, as did Music in the Park which didn’t being until mid summer, and has now ended for 2021.
