The Pas RCMP catch up with illegal guns

An assault complaint leads to seizure of numerous firearms and seven arrests.
The Pas gun seizure.

On March 7, at 2:45 a.m., RCMP in The Pas received a report of an assault in progress at a residence located on Hill Place in The Pas.
Officers responded to the complaint and immediately observed numerous unsecured firearms strewn about upon entry into the home. The firearms were found to be improperly stored and several were loaded. One gun was later determined stolen from a break-and-enter reported in 2022 in the town.
Seven individuals, five males, and two females were arrested on scene and taken into police custody. A search warrant was prepared and executed for the lawful seizure of the firearms and explosives. The allegation of an assault was investigated and found to be unsubstantiated. The Pas RCMP continues to investigate.
