Within two weeks Dauphin RCMP made three traffic stops that resulted in arrests and the seizure of drugs and weapons.“These are examples of some of the great police work being done in the Dauphin area,” said Sergeant Scott Linklater, Acting Detachment Commander of the Parkland area.
On Nov. 17, at about 4:35 p.m., RCMP on patrol conducted a traffic stop on 9th Avenue South East in Dauphin. The driver and passenger were involved in an earlier theft and were arrested.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of weapons, 90 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of methamphetamine, prescription drugs, ammunition and cash.
