WINNIPEG - The province may not replace the Queen Victoria statue that was torn down by protesters at the legislature almost two years ago (Free Press, 9 April).
The toppling of the statues was a despicable act of "No Respect." Seeking revenge in such a manner does not warrant such atrocities.
However, I believe, the biggest atrocity was the provinces’ lack of laying charges to those involved. This was not an act of protesters. It was an act of vandalism, which is a crime.
