On Thursday, Sept. 22, Virden Collegiate Institute (VCI) held its annual Undergrad Awards Ceremony in the school's gymnasium where 160 subject awards, 93 honour roll certificates and nearly $2,000 in monetary awards were given out during the evening. There was also a pie auction in support of the school's Parent Council, which operates a healthy snack program and presents monetary awards at this time and at graduation in June.
