Skate Virden played host to the 2022 Skate Canada Manitoba Sectionals Championships Nov. 6 and 7 at Tundra Oil & Gas Place.
Among the many competitors were local skaters and athletes training out of the Virden club.
Breken Brezden of Skate Dauphin, who trains in Virden, competed in Junior Women's Singles.
Seoul Tilokani, representing the Melita Figure Skating Club, competed in Junior Men's Singles.
Hailey Bird and Sara Chant, both of the Elkhorn Figure Skating Club, competed in Novice Women's Singles.
Wyatt James of Carman Skating Club, who trains in Virden, competed in Pre-Novice Men's Singles.
