On November 12, 2022, at approximately 5:40 p.m., officers from Virden RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision that had just occurred on Provincial Road 257, located near the community of Kola, Manitoba.
Officers attended to the scene and determined that a westbound SUV had crossed over the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound semi-trailer.
The 35-year-old female driver of the SUV, from Virden, was pronounced deceased on scene. The 74-year-old male driver, from Brandon, was not physically injured.
Virden RCMP continue to investigate.
