Roxy Hrynko makes a parking lot delivery, a curbside option for Your Dollar Store shopping needs.

Your Dollar Store with More in Virden is owned locally. Roxy Hrynko took ownership June 22, 2005 and while her store is not confined to dollar items, Your Dollar Store with More carries merchandize that fills a niche and lets people stay within their budget.

Hrynko reflects on the changes she has seen over the years since her early days as an employee and manager. “I’m not as dedicated to $1 items. I think people in town are looking for better stuff at competitive prices.”

So, when it comes to celebrating a birthday, finding a kitchen tool or any number of fun craft supplies Your Dollar Store with More has incredibly affordable merchandise.

With the holiday season coming up, crafts include Christmas signs that you can paint yourself.

This year, sending Christmas cards is more important than ever. Your Dollar Store has a broad selection of Christmas and other greeting cards.

A gift given in a decorative Christmas-themed box is an extra special touch and will look so inviting under the Christmas tree.

As the pandemic brought greater restrictions throughout Manitoba, Hrynko and her staff have doubled down to provide customer service. She is very happy to be serving customers who call and request items that can be delivered to curbside pick-up. Hrynko says, “We have wonderful community support.”

Your Dollar Store staff are taking orders over the phone or through Facebook messenger.

As a locally owned franchise Your Dollar Store and owner Roxy Hrynko is pleased to be able to contribute to a variety of community causes.

Your Dollar Store with More is Canada’s largest dollar store franchise chain with well over 100 locations across Canada. In 1998, Russ and Sherry Meszaros had an idea – to raise the bar in the dollar store industry by opening a dollar store that was well merchandised, brighter, cleaner and more inviting for customers to shop. The first two stores started in B.C. at Merritt and Kelowna.
