RCMP REPORT: June 10, 2016

Corporal Ed Riglin reported 69 calls for service between May 31 and June 6. Three false alarms and 15 traffic tickets occurred during this time frame. May 31 Four abandoned 9-1-1 calls. None of the calls were found to be an emergency.

This year Forest Tent Caterpillars or better known to some as Army Worms, have invaded much of Virden and area. Groups of these worms are known to take over, and eat all the leaves off of hardwood trees.

RCMP Report - May 27, 2016

Corporal Ed Riglin reported 98 calls for service between May 17 and May 23. No false alarms and 63 traffic tickets occurred during this time frame. May 17 RCMP did a well-being check on a person living in the RM of Wallace-Woodworth.
