The large billboard sign was unveiled at the recent Elkhorn Elks Western Weekend, with a few of the original team members being present for the event. The emcee for the event was Garth Mitchell, who said, “The new sign is a way to acknowledge their efforts to the sports quality of life in the community.”

Mitchell listed all the former team members, with a few of the original members on hand for the unveiling. During the 1963 ball year, the Elkhorn Blue Sox racked up a 39-win/1-loss season!
