The Oil Caps activity on the trade front continued this past week. This time it was the Oil Capitals acquiring the CJHL playing rights to Tyson Enzie (95) of Calgary, AB from the Yorkton Terriers in exchange for goaltender Cameron Pateman (96).

This trade completes the future considerations involved in the Kurt Johnas trade that brought Johnas back to Virden at the January 10th trade deadline. Enzie is a 20-year-old left winger who brings
championship experience to the Oil Caps dressing room, having won the SJHL’s Canalta Cup, Western Canada Cup, and Royal Bank Cup Championships with the Terriers during the
2013-14 season. In two seasons, Enzie suited up in 119 games for the Terriers while collecting 44 points (17 G, 27 A) and 34 penalty minutes. He was named the Terriers’ Co-Rookie of the Year in
2013-14 during Yorkton’s championship run.

Heading to Yorkton for Enzie is 18-yearold netminder, Pateman. The Regina, SK product played in 17 games for the Oil Caps during his Junior ‘A’ rookie season posting an 8-8 record
while recording a shut out. Pateman finished the season with a 3.12 goals against average along with a .876 save percentage.

This trade comes leading up to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Draft and Annual General Meetings, which are slated for this weekend in Neepawa. The Oil Caps will head into Sunday's
draft with eight picks scattered through the six rounds. The MJHL draft will be televised this year on NACTV. This channel can be found on all Bell satellite stations for viewing.
