14U Girls Manitoba Baseball Team

SWBL playoffs continue as the Virden Oilers find themselves in a do or die situation after splitting the first 2 games with the Hamiota Red Sox. Game 3 was Wednesday and IF all things could be equal, the Oilers should be advancing to the semis.

Virden U12 Girls Softball Team, Virden Stingers, won provincial B championships in Winnipeg, from Jul. 7-9. Thirty-three teams attended the championship tournament at the provincial tournament.

Virden Youth Soccer teams, Grades 1-2 and Grades 5-8, are undefeated this season. The two teams played in a jamboree at Boissevain on Jun. 3 and at Nesbitt on Jun. 17, and won both tournaments.
