Virden Breakfast Club held their 2016/17 season from Oct.-Apr. on Tuesday and Thursday early mornings. Children, ages 6-18, from all walks of life, worked on hockey skills and then enjoyed a warm breakfast before heading off to school.

Skate Canada Manitoba held a High Performance Figure Skating Clinic on May 5-6 at the Tundra Oil & Gas Place arena. Two teams, the High Performance Team with 14 athletes, and the Developmental Team with 21 athletes attended the clinic.
