Virden’s Nathan Price has earned an important role as a rookie with the Westman Wolverines. The son of Rod and Kerrie Price is the starting right tackle on the football team’s offensive line.

The Virden Oilers have completed another regular season; this one is definitely one for the books. The regular season, “went very well.” Player- manager Des Koop explained. The team went an impressive 9-4 and won the North Division Pennant.
