Cross Lake RCMP seize drugs, and liquor during traffic stop

On August 6, 2017, at approximately 2:10 am, the Cross Lake RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 374. The traffic stop led to the search of the vehicle which resulted in the seizure of 154 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana, 52 Tylenol 3 tablets as well as a quantity of liquor.

 

RCMP have arrested and charged the following individuals of Cross Lake: 18-year-old Garrett Ross, 25-year-old Tamar Thomas, 27-year-old Shannah Scott, and 50-year-old Dolores Thomas. Each have been charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

 

All four accused were remanded in custody and scheduled to appear in Thompson Provincial Court.
