Derrick Theatre re-opens

In March of 2020 Virden settled in for a new normal as COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, businesses closed or attendance was very limited. No one knew what the anticipated re-opening would look like, but here it is in September of 2021, 18 months later.

The marquee is lit up and it's back to business for Virden's Derrick Theatre, which re-opened last weekend after being shuttered since March of 2020 due to COVID-19. https://www.empireadvance.ca/local-news/theres-a-new-normal-in-virden-4295010

Current public health orders stipulate that movie-goers need to be fully vaccinated, and they will be screened prior to entering the building.
