On May 13, 2017, at approximately 11:15 pm, Snow Lake RCMP were dispatched to a serious single-vehicle collision on Highway 392, just outside Snow Lake, Manitoba. When officers arrived on scene, a vehicle was in the east ditch and emergency crews were providing medical support to a 25-year-old male.

The male from Brandon was transported to Winnipeg hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries.

Early investigation has determined that the male was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was travelling southbound on Highway 392 when his vehicle went into the ditch and he was ejected.

It is believed alcohol is a contributing factor in this collision. The male was not wearing a seat belt.
