The Corex barbecue has become a welcome tradition every August, to kick-off Virden Indoor Rodeo & Wild West Daze rodeo weekend.

The music DJ had kids bopping to the beat, in front of the stage, even doing the actions for The YMCA song.
Not only does Corex provide the barbecue meal, give out treats and trinkets and provide entertainment, the company also presents a cheque for $1,000 to the Downtown Daze organizers, Virden Community Chamber of Commerce.
