Last Friday and Saturday, the Elkhorn Agricultural Society celebrated a huge milestone hosting its 125th annual fair.
Two full days of activities coinciding with hot, sunny weather made for a memorable and very busy event.
Among the many features were a cattle show, kids rodeo (new this year), dog demonstrations, horse competitions, sheep shearing, entertainment, and traditional fair fare like produce and plants, quilts and handicrafts, canning and baking.
Margaret James attended and photographed some of the highlights for the Empire-Advance.
