Russell RCMP are investigating a fatal off-road vehicle collision.
On June 21, 2019, just after 1:35 pm, Russell RCMP received a report of an off-road vehicle collision approximately 35 kilometres north-west of Russell in the RM of Riding Mountain West.
Officers attended and learned that a 70-year-old male, from Churchbridge, Sask., was riding an ATV with another male in search of cattle on their property when the 70-year-old’s ATV flipped due to the steep terrain.
The 70-year-old male, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, was pronounced deceased on scene.
Russell RCMP continue to investigate.
